The dedicated AD06 Lens Hood is specifically designed for use with Tamron 28-300mm and 18-200mm XR lenses. It helps to minimize flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. The hood also provides additional protection to the lens from accidental impact, bumps, and scratching. The "petal" shape of this lens hood maximizes the amount of hood coverage for the minimum amount of weight and hood area.
