    Better than expected

    Had high expectations after reading glowing reviews online. After trying them hands-on, it was better than expected. Very sharp and clear, with minimal chromatic aberration. It has an unique macro feature and is able to focus extremely close, providing really larger than real life view. Very light and compact, perfectly suited for my 6yr old son. Only downside is it doesn't have a lens cover for the front (only comes with cover for the eyepiece). It comes with a handsome felt-lined interior pouch. It would have been even better if it was waterproof, but at this price point, it's full 5 star.
